WHELLIGAN
Whelligan is fronted by songwriter Jamie Whelligan, whose songs have drawn comparisons to Syd Barrett, Julian Cope, XTC, Paul Heaton and The Rutles. Magpie-eyed vocals harmonise over warm and wiry guitars, while inventive lyrics are matched with floating melodies. Whelligan's sound is eclectic, melodic and steeped in the traditions of Merseyside songwriting, hitting the sweet spot where country rock crosses over with psychedelia.
